Richard Hulsebos

Richard is a Special Education teacher with 15 years of experience. He spent the first 10 years of his career teaching children with autism or physical disabilities. Nowadays, he’s a teacher at Special Needs School (Cluster 2) for pupils aged 3-13 with hearing impairments, cochlear implants, and specific language/communication disorders, and teaches at a university. Since 2013, all of his students work with iPads. New technology is important to Richard; it offers him great educational tools and helps him create inspiring and challenging lessons that get his students involved. As an instructional technology coordinator, he organizes courses and workshops for teachers about the use of new technology in education. He also helps out several different schools to infuse iPads in everyday teaching.
